Parliamentary Administration
The Parliament, its committees and the President of the Tyrolean Parliament require the services of the office of the Parliamentary Administration ("Landtagsdirektion") to carry out their duties. The office of the Parliamentary Administration draws up the agendas for committee and parliamentary sessions. Furthermore, it makes proposals as to the selection of consultants, experts and civil servants to attend committee meetings and gives legal advice on matters pertaining to Parliament. The office of Parliamentary Administration keeps records of Parliament’s overall business activities, ensures that committee and parliamentary sessions run smoothly, and administers the budget allocated to Parliament.
The office of the Parliamentary Administration is also responsible for copying and delivering advisory papers. Furthermore, it must compile and print out the minutes and reports of committee meetings, send documents to delegates and compile records of committee hearings.
The office of the Parliamentary Administration is headed by the director of Parliamentary Administration Mag.a Renate Fischler, MAS. The director is appointed by the President of the Tyrolean Parliament.
You can obtain information leaflets entitled "Der Tiroler Landtag" (The Tyrolean Parliament) and "Das Tiroler Landhaus" (The Tyrolean Assembly Building) as well as up-to-date photos and detailed explanations in the office of the Parliamentary Administration.
