The letter „N“ means, that your bike is measured to an former noise measuring procedure. To compare to the measurement procedure of nowadays, you have to add a value of 21 to get the value of stadionary noise level. Per example if your motorcycle has a noise level of 80N, add 21 to know, that your bike has a noise level of 101 dB (A), and so it’s affected from the driving ban.
17. In my registration document is a stationary noise level of „80P“ dB (A) marked, am I affected from these driving bans?
The letter „P“ means, that your bike is measured with the measurement procedure according to the rules of today. This means, you can take the value 1 to 1 to the driving bans. This example bike wouldn’t be affected from the driving bans.
